Here are some of the wonderful birds that I have seen in our backyard lately. They bring a lot of joy to my life and I am always trying to capture good shots. What kind of birds or other wildlife are you seeing?

I love seeing the chickens in the yard helping my husband with his chores.

Backyard Doves

I am used to seeing a couple of doves at a time hanging out in my yard, but today I noticed well over twenty doves sitting on the wire above my yard.  My husband suggested I put out some extra bird seed.  Once I did that and went into the house, the doves invaded the yard.

My Rescue Cat Makes Me Smile

Just maxin and relaxin.

As I was exploring other WordPress blogs, I came across Leane Cole Photography. She had some wonderful pictures of her cat Tiddles on her post Tuesdays Bits and Bobs – On My Way. I commented about how anything with cats makes me smile. Today I was thinking about how much my rescue cat Abigail makes me smile.
