Remembering my Cat Abigail

Being Diagnosed with Hereditary Hemochromatosis

I was recently diagnosed with Hereditary Hemochromatosis. This means that my body absorbs too much iron. This can cause a host of problems like organ failure especially if it’s not caught early.  I had never even heard of it before, but after reading about it found out it is not always easily diagnosed. I feel fortunate that was able to get the diagnosis at this point.
